Jon loves comedians. He is a big fan of stand up comedy and is always on top of the new up and coming talent on the circuit. Outside of commercials Jon has directed comedy for the BBC and Ch4 as well as creating the cult kids show 'Big Babies' which he also directed and co-wrote with actor/comedian Spencer Jones. BAFTA nominated for best comedy and also nominated for its technical achievements with a Royal Television Society Digital Craft Award ‘Big Babies’ is currently in the process of being developed in the US.

Dave Wood’s work probably looks remarkably like something you’ve not seen before. While David is well versed in many styles of filmmaking - comedy is his passion. “It really is,” he confirms, typing this in third person. Some even say that after the last 3 years he has spent directing in London his taste in comedy is becoming exquisitely refined, like someone who could tell the difference between butter and ‘I can’t believe it’s not butter’.
Whether its dialogue driven, physical comedy, parody, or just bringing something extra to a character or style of storytelling David brings a range of influences and style to each piece. He approaches each shoot with the experience and wisdom you might find in a person who looked directly at the sun during an eclipse for too long and went partially blind, and now travels around to schools warning kids not to look at an eclipse unless you have one of those bits of paper with the little holes poked into it.
Dave is serious about comedy and would love to get into your briefs.
